Gabriela's Garden
Growing naturally, seasonally and with care. My world quietens when my hands are in the soil, the sound of birds behind me and the peace of pruning and weeding my allotment beds. What that means for you is that every product I grow is nurtured and loved from seed to harvest.
How did I get into this?
My grandparents had allotments, my mum has ‘green fingers’ when it comes to landscaping gardens. My auntie's allotment was any gardener's dream.
Me, I've been involved with my family's growing spaces since I was a toddler. Somewhere along the way between higher education, living life and trying to become a functioning adult with a mortgage and a Dyson, I forgot about it.

After a long bout of bad illness my mum came to visit. She sent me into the garden with a spade and the whole afternoon to grumble while I lifted 12m² worth of turf. This isn't actually a large space but I dug really deep, broke up soil by hand, removed weeds and stones which is tiring.
She went home having secretly sown radishes.
Seeing them pop up within a week, I was hooked. Something inside of me came alive, maybe even, again.
That was 2023.
The rest is... well... welcome to my site and I hope you can follow the journey.

Fresh food tastes different when it's grown naturally, cared for daily and harvested with muddy hands.
